Ibiza. The world of sun and drive
It’s not easy to describe all the emotions of people who come to Ibiza for the first time! And actually words are useless! Tourists of Ibiza come from different countries and speak different languages, so that’s why music, dances and smiles become a new universal language for them!
New friends, parties on the beach, discos in the most famous night clubs and an endless fun round the clock – these are essential components of the rest on Ibiza. There is nothing unusual in visiting David Guetta or DJ Tiesto show – these names are quite ordinary for the local haunters. But there is also a special place for those who prefer to rest in a less energetic manner. Here on Ibiza you’ll find a famous Cafe del Mar. This is where the music style called lounge originates from. This music was created for relaxation and goes perfectly well with the atmosphere of Ibiza, with its evening cocktails, contemplation of the sea and the gulls hovering in the sky against a backdrop of sunset.
It is interesting to know that there are no night clubs in the central part of Eivissa (the capital of Ibiza). Here you may find only ancient houses and museums, nice narrow streets and gates covered with verdure. This part of the city is on the list UNESCO Cultural Heritage sites.
A certain credit for the development of tourism and parties on Ibiza is given to the hippies. They brought to the island ideas of pacifism, freedom in love and brotherhood. You can feel the influence of hippie culture in the air of Ibiza, in its way of life and, of course, in the local hippie-market. It is a special place where you can buy some hippie attributes, beads, flairs, shawls and cigarette paper for cannabis.
What else can you see on Ibiza? In the north you can visit a cave with an artificial waterfall, in the south you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to take a motor ship and enjoy snow-white beaches and pure coastal water of the neighbor island Formentera.
One more way to explore the island is to rent a car and make a tour round its coast with numerous picturesque bays and rocks. So, there is no doubt - Ibiza will teach you to enjoy your life!
