Though the island of Cayo Coco was named after the white ibis (coco), it’s the pink flamingo that appears on every picture of the island. It’s hardly surprising, since the island is home to a large colony of pink flamingos. The graceful birds have invaded every corner of Cayo Coco and are often caught on camera.
