For many tourists Cuba has always been a special country which should be certainly visited! And not just because of the very beautiful ocean, perfect beaches and the year round sun, but first of all due to the local color of this Latin American country. Driving out the American retro Cadillac, drinking a genuine mojito, dancing salsa in Havana all night long! This entertainment cocktail is delicately adorned with the romance of a period that warmly associates with the childhood. Cuba is very unusual and interesting country.

Things to do in Cuba

First of all, dancing! In Havana they dance the genuine salsa and bachata! So if your hotel is in Varadero(90% of tourists live there), here is a piece of advice: go to Havana for a couple of days. Varadero is exclusively tourist resort. Cuba and dances begin in Havana!

Secondly, don’t hesitate to fly to Cayo Largo, Cayo Coco and other islands near Cuban coast. If there is paradise on earth, it is on one of these islands! Neither in Varadero, nor in Havana is there such beautiful turquoise water. The sand is so white here that Varadero beaches will seem grey to you! :-)

Go for a walk along Havana. It is the most interesting and racy city. You can easily get there. Numerous taxis near hotels will bring you to Havana for a reasonable price of 80 Euro. It will take you nearly 2 hours. You can also rent a car and go for a ride around all Cuba by yourself. The cost of rent depends on the car category and varies from 70 to 250 Euro per day.

It’s very interesting to visit Vinales Valley, marvelous stalactitic caves and to see landscapes totally unlike the rest of Cuba!

And the most important is to taste the genuine mojito! By the way, in the hotels it is disgusting, so it’s better to go to Havana and visit the Hemingway bar.
