Prague
Prague makes you fall in love at first sight with its labyrinth of streets, comfort and elegancy. The city reminds a colourful book with illustrations and when you open each page the illustration comes to life.
Such impression I’ve got visiting Prague. Walking through the streets you can notice the amazing combination of different architectural styles such as intricate Baroque, severe gothic, luxurious renaissance and sophisticated modern.
Especially I was conquered by the great Charles Bridge with its little statues. May be you heard the saying “that all roads go to Rome”, but about Prague I would say that all roads go to the Charles Bridge. It doesn’t matter what way you chose it will bring you to this Bridge that is symbol of Prague. Walking there looks like walking through the times. If you close your eyes for a moment you will see the coronation process of Czech kings, then you can imagine the joust. You imagination strengthens with the help of statues decorating the bridge. The most popular is the sculpture of Jan Nepomuk. I was told that if to put a hand on the cross and make a wish it will fulfill.
In front of the Royal Summer Palace that is designed in renaissance style there is the sinning fountain. It got such name because of the drops that fell down on bronze bell make the unique sounds. We would recommend you to visit Vladislav Hall in the Old Royal Palace. At the king’s time the lush banquets, functions and joust took place there.
The modern Prague is divided into two parts now days – The Old and New city. The Old part is full of different sightseeing. Every traveler will be able to find something interesting for him. If you are planning to visit the Old part you will not pass by the historical center that is called The Old Town Square. This is one of the amazing place that is decorated by different bright sun glares.
The center of the modern part of Prague is Wenceslas Square. You will notice the imposing building of National museum. There are many fashion boutiques, jewelry and souvenir shops, and many other things. After shopping you can take a rest in local café to enjoy nice Czech cuisine and may be beer. The Czech beer is peculiar, sparkling and in each spark there is a love of the craft beer, who creates this wonderful drink.
