Best Time to Visit Prague
A burst of vivid colors, head-spinning aroma of trees and flowers in full bloom, birds greeting the sun with their heart-touching songs, smiling people – no place on Earth is as beautiful as Prague in spring. A lot of couples choose that time of the year to pay a visit to the city, since it’s a perfect place for almost any occasion, be it a wedding, a honeymoon or a holiday with your loved one.
The summer temperatures are rather moderate – no excessive heat, like in Egypt, no heat strokes, no sunburns. At that time of the year the city is flooded with couples from all over the world – nothing to be surprised of, since June marks the beginning of the wedding season.
Autumn in Prague is a feast for the eyes: leaves of molten gold stand out starkly against the bright red roofs. The trees practically glow in the sun, and the flowers fill the air with their delicate fragrance. The weather is still warm, the outdoor temperature comfortable enough to walk for hours on end. Every now and then you stumble across couples posing on the roofs – wedding photographers say, the panoramic view of the city is truly breathtaking, and any photos taken from that angle look amazing.
In winter the temperature rarely drops below 7 ˚C. The snowfalls are few and far between. Some couples opt for a winter wedding in Prague, and who can blame them? The city looks like a colorful Christmas card: brightly illuminated streets, roasted chestnuts, delicious glogg and yummy ginger breads – a perfect background for a fairytale wedding.
