Proposal in Rome
Proposal is the one of the most challenging and exciting photoshoot. There is only one attempt to capture the magical moment.
The groom arranges a love story photo session for a surprise effect, usually. While the couple walking with a photographer, he makes a unexpected proposal at a picked location.
However that one was different. The groom wanted to surprise the bride at all. So my assistant and I went to the location in advance and started posing as tourists taking pictures of each other. As soon as the bride and groom approached, we turned the camera around and caught the real emotions. Then we went for a short walk to capture their happiness and love.
Photographer's tip: don't choose the most touristic locations for your proposal, where other people can disturb you. I always discusse with my clients about locations and check them in advance. Here I chose a romantic one with a stunning view of Rome, where there were no so many people around.
