Kingdom of Norway, Norway - a country in Northern Europe, which is on the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, and on a huge amount of surrounding smaller islands, as well as the archipelago of Svalbard (Spitsbergen), Jan Mayen and Bear Island in the Arctic Ocean. Dependencies of Norway is Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic Ocean. Norway also claims to territory in Antarctica, falling under the Convention of 1961 - Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land.
